Automatic analysis of packaging data on the production line

Complete analysis of the packaging of products moving on the transmission belt.

Our solution enables a complete and automatic analysis of the information contained on packaging moving on a standard conveyor belt. The system is equipped with 5 industrial cameras that effectively recognize key data such as serial numbers, expiration dates and bar codes.

Thanks to the use of specialized lighting located in 3 separate chambers, the system easily reads various types of inscriptions - from standard laser and needle prints to embossed inscriptions, often difficult to read with the naked eye.

Data reading is carried out using modern algorithms of computer vision and deep learning, processed on an integrated computing unit. The results obtained can be immediately transmitted to the customer's IT systems.

Basic parameters of the system:

  • Specialized lighting system and 5 cameras that scan the contents of the walls of the product
  • Complete analysis of a single package in 5 seconds
  • Capacity of 17,000 packages per day
  • Permissible conveyor speed 0.8m/s
  • Readability to read laser, dot matrix and embossing
  • Full reading accuracy over 85%
  • Data read verification accuracy over 95%
  • Barcode reading accuracy over 99%
  • Ability to integrate with customer's IT systems

One device replaces the work of as many as 18 people:

It takes approximately 30 seconds per product to enter serial numbers, expiration dates and barcodes manually. Our system performs the same operation in just 5 seconds, working continuously around the clock and processing up to 17,000 packages per day.

Camera and lighting system for outstanding reading accuracy:

A dedicated lighting system and 5 industrial cameras scan each of the walls of the product for exceptional reading accuracy.

Reading of printed and embossed inscriptions:

Specialized algorithms adapt to any type of font, including economical needle printing and embossed lettering that is visible only in the right light.

Modern image analysis technologies: We use the latest developments in machine learning and computer vision that revolutionize modern optical character recognition (OCR) systems.
